How do I add Google tracking code to HubSpot?

Once you have added the Google Tag Manager snippet to your HubSpot pages, Google Analytics will begin tracking visitors to your website. You can view this data in the Google Analytics dashboard.

There are two ways to add Google tracking code to HubSpot:

Through the HubSpot settings

  1. Go to your HubSpot account and click on the Settings gear icon.
  2. In the left sidebar, click on Website.
  3. Select Pages from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select the domain that you want to add Google Analytics to.
  5. Click on the Integrations tab.
  6. Check the box next to Integrate with Google Analytics.
  7. Enter your Google Analytics tracking ID in the field provided.
  8. Click on Save.

Through Google Tag Manager

  1. If you don't have a Google Tag Manager account, you can create one for free.
  2. Once you have created a Google Tag Manager account, you will need to create a new tag.
  3. In the tag configuration, select Google Analytics as the tag type.
  4. In the Tracking ID field, enter your Google Analytics tracking ID.
  5. In the Container ID field, enter your Google Tag Manager container ID.
  6. Click on Save.
  7. In the Google Tag Manager interface, you will need to publish the changes.
  8. Once the changes have been published, you will need to add the Google Tag Manager snippet to your HubSpot pages.

To add the Google Tag Manager snippet to your HubSpot pages, you will need to:

  1. Go to your HubSpot account and click on the Settings gear icon.
  2. In the left sidebar, click on Website.
  3. Select Pages from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select the domain that you want to add Google Analytics to.
  5. Click on the Edit button.
  6. In the HTML editor, find the <head> tag.
  7. Paste the Google Tag Manager snippet immediately after the <head> tag.
  8. Click on Save.
