Your mind is one of the most powerful attributes you have, so use it to your advantage. Before your feet hit the floor, spend a few minutes breathing in deeply and exhaling all the way out to get the fresh oxygen in and the old oxygen out. Focusing on your breathing will assist in clearing the clutter from your head.

Willingness

Being willing to take the time to do whatever it is that you need to do to set yourself up for a successful day is vital to your continued daily success. Willingness is the secret ingredient to all success; whether it's trying something different or learning something new, it all starts with opening your heart and mind.

Commitment

Having a successful day is going to take action throughout that day. Make a mental commitment to give yourself a chance and not to give up too early when working towards your short term targets or long term goals throughout the day. Every great accomplishment starts with an initial commitment.
